The traffic information service informs the operator about any other known operation, crewed or uncrewed, happening in proximity of a flight. The U-space Traffic information service should not be confused with the traffic information provided by air traffic services unit[1]. To avoid confusion, the latter will be addressed in this document as traditional traffic information.

The Traffic information service consolidates data from three sources: traditional Traffic information, Network identification, and electronic e-conspicuity.Those three data sources is not available in all scenarios. The provision of traditional Traffic information is limited to U-space airspaces in controlled airspaces[2] and electronic e-conspicuity is limited to uncontrolled traffic[3].
